What is LIPOcel?
LIPOcel is a state-of-the-art HIFI fat reduction device. HIFU means High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound, which targets and destroys fat cells. At Doctor Nyla’s Medispas, we contour your body by removing stubborn fat cells. This treatment works across many areas of the body where too much body fat can be observed.
There are 3 different device heads to target specific areas effectively. With LIPOcel, you can target that stubborn fat that just won’t seem to go with diet and exercise. Available by Nyla’s team of medical professionals in her Medispa clinics across Cheshire, Liverpool and Harley Street, London.
How does it work?
Thermal energy is generated by using High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound technology. This energy destroys the fat cells in your body, in turn reducing the circumference of your waist. HIFU technology uses the same principle as burning paper with a magnifying glass. Combining HIFU with contact cooling of the handpiece means treatments are more effective. The contact cooling also protects the epidermis from burns and ecchymosis.
What’s the treatment like?
The LIPOcel treatment is quick and pain-free with great results. There is no downtime because of the cooling system that is specific to the LIPOcel device. The head of the LIPOcel device remains cool on your skin, preventing any thermal damage. The handpiece stays around 5 Celsius when other devices can reach 20 Celsius. The contact cooling of LIPOcel makes this machine stand out from all other competitors. Higher energy is delivered to the targeted area whilst reducing pain to the epidermal area and nerve area. You may notice the treated area looking slightly pink after your session, but this will go within a few hours.
How many sessions do I need and when will I see results?
LIPOcel is quick, ranging from 30-45 minutes depending on the treated area. There’s no downtime for these treatments because it’s completely non-invasive. You can even have your LIPOcel treatment in your lunch break! Results depend on the person and treated area, however, most patients require 1-3 treatments spaced 6-12 weeks apart. Patients notice results roughly 6 weeks after treatment. Results continue to improve for up to 12 weeks. To increase results and maintain, continue living a healthy lifestyle and follow a dietary plan.
