Morpheus8 is a revolutionary treatment that can be used on both the face and body to help rejuvenate the tone and texture of the skin. Its Subdermal Adipose Remodelling Device (SARD) works to increase the production of collagen in the skin to reverse the effects of natural ageing and cellular damage, for a reduced look to concerns such as: lines, wrinkles, sagging skin, acne scars and stretch marks. Deeper levels of the dermis are targeted through the delivery of microneedling and radiofrequency technologies, stimulating collagen and rebuilding the skin’s internal structure.

MORPHEUS8 TREATMENT: HOW DOES IT WORK

Morpheus8 is a device that combines microneedling with radiofrequency technology for fractional resurfacing that stimulates collagen production. By targeting the deeper layers of the skin, the building blocks will reorganize themselves in a natural anti-aging process.

Morpheus8 is a non-invasive, relatively painless procedure that’s safe for all skin tones, with little to no risk of hyperpigmentation. Treatments can be performed on any body area and used to treat a wide range of skin concerns.

Recently performed on the fabulous Judy Murray to great success, the treatment when used together with FaceTite, can act as the perfect solution for patients who have skin laxity, with overlying skin surface irregularities. The FaceTite/Morpheus8 combination produces immediate results, with continued improvement over time.

MORPHEUS8 REVIEWS

Talking about her treatment, Judy Murray said: ‘I’d say it’s taken at least 10 years off my appearance, as you can see for yourself. I am absolutely thrilled to bits with the result, my skin is fresher, clearer, and I feel much better about myself,’

‘The lines on my face have softened significantly and what I love about it most is how many people are noticing and are saying, “What have you done to your skin?” and then I tell them that it’s a natural treatment.

‘I’ll definitely do it again, it has really helped me, and I would recommend it to anybody.’

MORPHEUS8 RESULTS AND RECOVERY

Morpheus8 downtime is minimal with doctors saying you can expect one to three days of redness, itchiness and mild swelling.

Results for Morpheus8 may begin within a few days of your first treatment, however your skin will continue to improve and be close to its best after around three weeks. You will see optimal results around three months post-treatment as your skin continues to improve. Your results from the Morpheus8 procedure will last about a year, so annual follow-up sessions may be required in order to maintain your youthful appearance.

The combination of microneedling and radiofrequency technologies helps to ensure that Morpheus8 is a treatment that can produce effective results for a wide range of skin types. Morpheus8 can work successfully on skin that possesses a darker tone, unlike many other procedures. If you are affected by the effects of the ageing process, a consultation at one of Doctor Nyla’s clinics can assess if Morpheus8 would benefit you.

As this treatment can be suitable for almost all skin types and tones, it is considered to be very safe. Doctor Nyla and her team are highly trained and qualified professionals who uphold exceptional standards, regarding the welfare and safety of all their clients.

Morpheus8 is a non-invasive procedure that is described by many of our clients as producing minimal pain and discomfort. Microneedling delivers a series of microinjections to the surface of the skin, and although this method triggers healing responses to the skin, it can also be a little uncomfortable. To help make this process as pain free as possible, a numbing cream can be applied to the skin prior to the treatment.

After your treatment you can expect the chosen area to look red and slightly swollen. These effects may last for around 3 days, which may also be coupled with itching. The consultation process will outline any other potential complications that may occur as a result of this procedure.

It is recommended to have 3 treatments spaced 6-8 weeks apart in order to see optimal results. Timescales and the number of sessions required will vary depending on each patient and their desired results.

Morpheus8 is most commonly used on the lower face and neck as the treatment is used on parts of the body that exhibit wrinkles, skin laxity, discolouration, acne scarring or stretch marks. With that being said Morpheus8 can be used on most parts of the body that patients wish to tighten.

Morpheus8 combines microneedling and radiofrequency technology making it one of the few procedures that is effective on all skin types, including darker skin tones that can’t always be treated with other technologies.

It is recommended that for the first 24 hours, you do not wear any make-up. A gentle cleanser should only be used on the skin and moisturisers will help to improve dry and tight skin – products can be recommended by Doctor Nyla’s team. The skin may be photosensitive (sensitive to the sun) for a short time and will therefore require sun exposure to be avoided and a high SPF should be applied everyday – part of a daily skin care routine that should be maintained regardless.
