THE SKIN AGEING PROCESS AND HOW THE TRANSFORMATION FACELIFT CAN HELP
The skin ageing process happens to everyone, and is a completely natural process, however it can be very difficult for some people, and make them lose confidence in their appearance. As we get older, the production of collagen and elastin in our bodies slows, causing the common signs of skin ageing, such as fine lines, wrinkles and a loss of volume in the skin. Collagen and elastin are the proteins that exist within many of the body’s tissues, including the skin, and gives structural support, strength, elasticity and durability to the skin. As a result of the slowing in collagen production, skin loses this support and elasticity over time. Collagen is also an important part of the wound healing process – when you have a cut or scratch, for example, collagen production in the area increases to safely mend the skin in the area.
The Transformation Facelift is a bespoke treatment plan put together by Doctor Nyla to turn back the clock on ageing and help you look 10 years younger in six weeks! By increasing collagen production to lift and tighten the skin, as well as performing ‘tweakments’ to add lift and structure to the face, you can start feeling incredible in no time! The Transformation Facelift uses multiple different non-surgical methods and technologies to provide an overall lifted, tightened and more youthful appearance, to help you feel like you’re most confident self again.
Ultrasound Lift
The Transformation Facelift process is a unique methodology which combines ultrasound and radio frequency technology This completely non-invasive treatment utilises ultrasound waves which non-surgically penetrate the skin, all the way down to the cellular and SMAS (superficial musculoaponeurotic system) layers of the skin, ar the very deepest surfaces of the skin. This causes the skin cells to vibrate and ‘tricks’ the skin into registering an injury, even when there is no damage to the skin. The body then floods the area with collagen, increasing the overall health and elasticity of the skin in the area.
This treatment is completely painless, non-invasive, and is safe for almost all skin types. It doesn’t require any downtime after treatment as it is entirely non-surgical, and you can complete your treatment in as little as 30 -45 minutes in some cases!
The results can appear almost instantly, and will continue to improve over the next 6-12 weeks after your treatment as the body’s natural regeneration processes continue to work, and collagen production continues to increase. Most cases only require two treatments but some (less than 10%) will require up to four treatments.
Radiofrequency Skin Tightening
The radiofrequency component of the Transformation Facelift non-surgically improves the condition of the skin and reduce skin laxity by causing thermocollogenesis in the epidermal/dermal junction. This helps to provide the smoothed, toned, youthful appearance you’re looking for without any pain, discomfort or downtime. Skin tightening can be carried out all over the face, including under the chin to reduce the appearance of jowls and sagging skin under the jaw, under the eyes to reduce loose skin and eye bags, and reverse sagging skin in the cheeks and mid-lower face .
This incredible treatment gives the full skin lifting and tightening effect, penetrating the skin’s deepest SMAS layers, as well as working effectively on the superficial skin layers.

Skin Microneedling
To improve the overall tone and health of the skin, as well as to further enhance results of skin lifting and tightening treatments, we incorporate microneedling treatments (sometimes known as mesotherapy) into the Transformation Facelift treatment plan. Microneedling has been used for many years as a treatment to improve skin tone, health and strength. It can be used to reduce the appearance of scarring, large open pores and hyperpigmentation, as well as reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Microneedling works by creating ‘micro-injuries’ in the skin, prompting increased collagen production in the area as it rushes to repair the ‘wound’. The increased levels of collagen in the skin then improves skin elasticity and reduces fine lines and wrinkles, while improving skin texture and brightness as well.
Anti-Ageing Tweakments Using Dermal Fillers and Anti-Wrinkle Injections
Finally, we’ll administer so-called ‘tweakments’ if required, using anti-wrinkle injections (Botox) and dermal fillers. These can be used to lift and tighten remaining fine lines and deeper wrinkles, such as crow’s feet and frown lines with Botox, and nasolabial folds with dermal fillers. We can also place dermal fillers along the chin, jawline and cheekbones to sculpt and enhance your facial structure.
While there are several steps to the Transformation Facelift, the recovery time is miniscule when compared to traditional surgical facelifts, which can take months to heal properly.

The ageing process causes the loss of collagen and elastin from the middle layer of the dermis, which results in the common signs of skin ageing, such as fine lines, wrinkles and loss of volume in the skin. This tired and worn look is not always embraced by everyone, and many people prefer the fresh look of their youth. The processes used in this innovative combination treatment work well on their own but when used in conjunction with each other can produce incredible results that work to enhance and complement each other – taking up to 10 years off your appearance. A consultation with one of Doctor Nyla’s expert practitioners can determine if the transformation face lift can produce the look you desire.
Each of the processes used in the transformation face lift are considered to be safe and will always be administered by a trained and skilled professional at Doctor Nyla’s clinics. The consultation will require you to share your medical history and details of your general health, which will help to ensure that this treatment will only be recommended if it is your best interests.
The ultrasound and radiofrequency parts of the treatment are comfortable to undergo. Microneedling can cause some discomfort as it delivers a series of micro injections to the skin. The needles on the microneedling device are very small and tenderness is usually very minor. However, if applying a topical numbing cream to the skin would be beneficial, you can speak to your practitioner. Dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle injections will also use a needle and penetrate the skin. The needles used are very fine and sensitivity does not always last much longer than the treatment itself. Once again, a topical numbing cream can be applied if this is preferred.
Side effects are temporary and should subside within 1 or 2 days as recovery is usually quite rapid and many patients do not feel the need to take any downtime. Facial sensitivity and redness may occur, but this should not be significant and stop you from your usual daily routine.

The aftercare needed for each of the Transformation Facelift differs depending on the stage of treatment. Most people don’t need any recovery time or downtime after ultrasound or radiofrequency treatments. However for microneedling treatments you may experience some redness and tenderness after treatment, and should avoid excessive sun exposure, wearing makeup for 24 hours, and use only warm water and a gentle cleanser to prevent any further irritation. After anti-wrinkle injection and dermal filler treatments, you should avoid strenuous exercise, intense heat or painkillers such as ibuprofen and aspirin.
