Ultherapy London

Beloved by Tess Daly, Jennifer Aniston, Gwyneth Paltrow and Kim Kardashian, Ultherapy is a wonderful skin tightening treatment that is available in London through award-winning expert Doctor Nyla.

The proud holder of the Top Cosmetic Clinic Award, Doctor Nyla is delighted to provide Ultherapy at her Harley Street clinic.

A procedure that is non-surgical, non-invasive and has no recovery time and yet greatly reduces the visible signs of ageing, it is no wonder that Ultherapy is so popular.

Think of the names mentioned above, celebs such as Jennifer Aniston and Gwyneth Paltrow and what do you think of? You think of women who look simply stunning and who seem to defy ageing.

Undoubtedly they are naturally beautiful women and blessed with great genetics, but treatments have also helped: subtle, non-invasive treatments that ensure they look their very best, but without that clear sign of work having been done.

Ultherapy works by counteracting the natural signs of ageing, it works using the body’s natural processes.

Anyone who is experiencing signs of ageing, even the first subtle signs, would be likely to be a candidate for Ultherapy.

What is Ultherapy?

Ultherapy is a skin tightening treatment. It works by delivering high intensity focussed ultrasound (HIFU) beneath the skin to correct tissue planes. It is the pre-eminent version of HIFU technology and is the only option of its kind to have FDA-approval.

The ultrasound delivered stimulates collagen creation, this addressing signs of ageing. As we age, it is collagen that becomes depleted, this a natural occurrence as we age, but one that inevitably leads to lines, wrinkles and sagging skin. Mother Nature decides to stop producing collagen and our skin suffers, Ultherapy works by reversing the process, getting that collagen going once more.

Ultherapy only uses ultrasound technology, but this is used in a highly accurate way, with imaging allowing the skilled practitioner to see the layer of skin being targeted. This ensures the energy is applied to where it will be most effective, the deep layers of skin where collagen creation will be maximised.

The use of ultrasound means that in contrast to a skin tightening option that may use lasers or surgery, there are no needles, no incisions and no pain. It is completely non-invasive and yet produces profound results.

The Ultherapy Process

The process actually typically begins with an initial consultation at Doctor Nyla’s stunning Harley Street clinic. This is to ensure the suitability of the treatment.

In many instances, a prospective patient has a desire to address signs of ageing but may not be sure which treatment or bespoke package of treatments would be the best option. Doctor Nyla will always create a personalised treatment plan that is best suited to delivering the change sought.

When Ultherapy is the treatment to be undertaken, the process starts with the cleaning of the skin, this to remove oil and residue.

An ultrasound gel is then applied and the device placed against the skin, this will deliver the ultrasound to the deep layers of skin to be targeted.

During the treatment, you may experience some mild pain and tingling, but this will quickly pass.

The ultherapy process will last up to 90 minutes, but this can be considered €˜me time’ in which you can relax. Many patients chose to read, listen to music, or enjoy a drama on the Apple TV we provide for all who visit.

There is no recovery period or downtime with Ultherapy – simply head back into London and enjoy the rest of your day.

Patients typically only need one treatment.

Ultherapy Results

The list of famous clients helps to showcase that Ultherapy helps to tackle signs of ageing, yet in a way that is very natural and never creates the look of €˜work having been done’.

Of the treatment, Tess Daly says €˜I love the fact that Ultherapy boosts your own collagen for natural-looking results, and it is a non-invasive treatment.I think it’s quite a revelation really.’

However, this is a treatment that is suitable for all – celebrity or not!

Rather than writing thousands of words trying to describe the results, we believe it is better to show you fair before and after photos, these showing patients before and after treatment – with lighting and photography conditions the same across photos.

As you can see, this treatment can have a wonderful impact.

Areas Ultherapy Can Treat

Ultherapy can be used to address signs of ageing on multiple areas of the face.

Typical areas targetted include, but are not limited to:

  • Around the eyes
  • Under the chin
  • Jawline
  • Neck
  • Decolletage

Suitability for Ultherapy

Loose skin on the face or around the neck would be a sign that you may be suitable for Ultherapy. Typically, those in their 30s or 40s with mild to moderate skin laxity are good candidates.

It can also be a wonderful treatment for those who want to stay ‘ahead of the game’ tackling even the very early signs of ageing as they develop.
