How does Ultherapy work?

Ultherapy uses high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) which is directed into the lower layers of the skin using a hand-held device. When the ultrasound waves reach the tissues, they have a warming effect.

The increase in temperature contracts the lower tissues which in turn tightens and lifts the surface layer of the skin.  

The warmth also encourages the body to increase the production of collagen and elastin. These are proteins that are essential to the elasticity and firmness of the skin.

What will my skin look like after skin tightening treatment?

After Ultherapy treatment, the skin on your face will be smoother and the contours of your chin, jawline, eye and brow area, neck, and decolletage will be firmer and more defined.

Is Ultherapy painful?

Is there any downtime after non-surgical skin lifting treatment?

The treated areas may be a little tender for a while but most clients find that they can resume their daily activities straightaway.

How quickly will I see results?

You may see an improvement in the texture and firmness of your skin after one treatment session however, optimum results will take up to six months to develop. The production rate of collagen and elastin will remain high during this period and so your skin will keep getting better. 

How long will the benefits of my treatment last?

The longevity of the results varies between individuals, but they can last up to two years. Your skin will continue to age and the levels of collagen and elastin production will start to decline again as the effects of the treatment wear off.

Arriving By Car

From the M57 or M58 take the A5758 towards Southport. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Southport Road, A565 for 1.5 miles, straight across the first roundabout. Turn right onto Coronation Road, B5193, taking the first exit at the roundabout to stay on Coronation Road. At the second roundabout, continue straight onto Mersey Road and the right into Kenilworth Road.
