The pulse from the hair removal applicator can only target hair follicles that are producing hair at the time of treatment, therefore not every hair follicle will be impacted in a single treatment.

To fully treat an area, several sessions must be undertaken, this ensuring that every hair follicle is caught at a growth phase during one of the treatments.

It is impossible too predict the precise number of treatments required but it is likely to be in the region of six treatments across a six-month period.

Yes – the M22 laser technology is able to remove hairs from any skin type. It is the hair that is being targeted so ultimately the skin tone does not matter.

Laser hair removal is pain free; at most there is likely to be a mild tingling type sensation.

Post procedure, there will be, at worst, mild redness that will quickly fade.

The length of treatment will vary depending on the area being treated and the amount of hair. However, it would be possible to Gove a far more detailed answer at consultation.

What can be said, is that the process is stress free – at our Liverpool clinic, clients relax during laser hair removal often reading a book, listening to a podcast or watching the free Apple TV we provide. Sometimes it seems people don’t want to leave!

In a word, yes. The laser is only targeting the hair and not the skin. The red spectrum light used is only picked up by the melanin in the hair, it is ignored by the skin and so leads to no change to skin cells or their DNA.

The precise cost will vary by the area being treated and amount of hair to be removed.

A detailed price would be provided at consultation.

At the time of writing, prices start from £65 per session – with several sessions required the overall cost is likely to be from around £200 upwards.

It is worth noting that this is for the permanent removal of a quantity of hair that has been otherwise hard to manage and in need of regular waxing and similar treatments. In terms of saving time and reducing damage to the skin, laser hair removal offers superb value for money.

Liverpool is a city in Merseyside, north west England with a population just shy of 500,000 as of the 2011 census.

Liverpool’s growth has been relatively recent – and rapid. As of the 16th century it had a population of just 500 people.

This was to change over the next two centuries as Liverpool become a major trading port, its growth reflecting that of the north west in general through the Industrial Revolution.

The city is of course now one of the world’s greatest, notable across many disciplines and industries.

However, it is perhaps through culture that Liverpool’s legacy is the greatest, the city home to a staggering array of bands, sporting stars and teams and other cultural icons.

Liverpool FC are the current Premier League champions, while city rivals Everton also have a rich history.

Both the world’s most successful all-male band and all-female bands include members from Liverpool – the Spice Girls and a band called the Beatles. You might have heard of them. John Lennon, Paul McCartney and the boys of course famous Liverpudlians.
