What causes dull skin?

The Envy Facial for Dull Skin
The Envy is one of Dr Nyla’s personal favourites and is part of her own skincare regime. This 3-in-1 treatment is deeply cleansing, smoothing and includes a super-hydrating boost to give you an enviable glow!
The first part of this treatment is a thorough cleanse to remove everything from the surface of your skin, including old makeup and dust from the environment. Next, your therapist will pass a loop-shaped device over your skin. This device acts like a small vacuum cleaner, sucking up all the dead skin cells and excess sebum from your pores. At the same time, the device pumps powerfully hydrating serum into the epidermal layer of the skin.
The Envy facial can be used on both the face and body and is very effective for sun damage, fine lines, acne scarring, stretch marks, and cellulite. The serum used will be selected by your therapist to address the particular issues of your skin. Dull skin will benefit significantly from the ultra-hydrating serum, but your therapist may also choose to use one of the other serums for maximum results. The others are :
- Vitamin C (to infuse the skin with antioxidants).
- Pore clarifying serum (for congested skin).

Carbon Laser Peel Facial to Brighten Dull Skin at Dr Nyla’s Medispa
Dr Nyla has a reputation for introducing new therapies and innovative treatments into her Medispas, and the Carbon Laser Peel facial is one of the latest therapies to be introduced. This gentle but highly effective peel is already a firm favourite with her clients, and no wonder as it offers a combination of deep cleansing with skin resurfacing. This powerful dual-action banishes dull skin and is fantastic for treating oily skin, blackheads, enlarged pores, and acne.
During this treatment, the therapist paints the skin with carbon in liquid form. This liquid is absorbed into the pores and the dermis, the second layer of the skin.
