What can dermal fillers in Liverpool do for me?
Dermal fillers are injections of hyaluronic acid, which is found naturally in the body. Hyaluronic acid is injected under the skin, where it works with your body’s collagen to rejuvenate your appearance. They can be used to solve a variety of problems:
Many of us find that our faces lose the plumpness of youth as we age. Our cheeks look more hollow, our lips thinner, and the eye area begins to sag and may look puffy or creased. A significant cause of these changes is the reduction of collagen beneath the skin that occurs over time. Collagen keeps young skin firm and smooth, but when it breaks down the skin loses its elasticity, resulting in sagging skin with lines and wrinkles.
Dr Nyla uses hyaluronic acid in a gel form that works with your own collagen to support the skin’s structures, resulting in a firmer, smoother appearance with a visible reduction in the depth of fine lines. Fillers can be used to reduce the signs of aging on the hands and the decolletage.
In addition to its smoothing and plumping properties, hyaluronic acid also boosts hydration levels, giving your skin a fresh and youthful glow.
Recontouring the facial features
In Dr Nyla’s skilled hands, dermal fillers can be used to enhance or correct your facial features. With carefully placed injections, she can create more defined cheekbones or improve the shape of your lips or chin. An increasingly popular treatment is liquid rhinoplasty, in which dermal fillers are used to subtly improve the shape of the nose.
Fillers to reduce the appearance of acne scars
Fillers are also a highly effective way to reduce the appearance of small scars, including the pitted scarring caused by acne.

How long does the treatment take?
Filler injections take up to 30 minutes, but the exact duration of the treatment will depend on the number of treatment sites. Dr Nyla favours an approach that enhances your natural beauty rather than radically changing your appearance, and the amount of filler required will be confirmed at your initial consultation.
How long will the benefits of the dermal filler treatment last?
You will see the benefits of your treatment straight away. The longevity of the effects varies from person to person, but dermal fillers will gradually wear off after about six months to a year.
Are facial fillers painful?
Some clients experience minor discomfort, but this is kept to an absolute minimum by numbing creams before the injections are administered. There may be a slight tenderness or bruising after the treatment, but this will subside within hours. Some of the products used also contain their own anaesthetic.

How to find us
You can find our glamorous Liverpool clinic a few miles outside the city centre in the seaside town of Crosby. The town was recently chosen as one of the “Best Places to Live” by the Sunday Times, and it is certainly worth exploring. The high street offers some excellent opportunities for retail therapy with a range of artisan boutiques, lifestyle stores, and favourite brand names.
Crosby’s biggest claim to fame is Antony Gormley’s sculpture installation ‘Another Place’ on the beach. The seashore also offers a panoramic view of the Irish sea, the Wirral peninsula, and the North Wales coast and is the starting point of a popular coastal walk. Keep Britain Tidy has awarded the beach the Quality Coast Award, and the QCA rates the standards of beach management among the highest quality in the UK.
