Polynucleotides Treatment
Polynucleotides are a non-surgical bio-regenerative injectable treatment used to improve skin quality, hydration and firmness. Unlike dermal fillers, polynucleotides do not add volume. Instead, they stimulate fibroblast activity and the body’s natural collagen and elastin production, gradually restoring a smoother, healthier and more youthful appearance over a course of treatments.

About Polynucleotides Treatment
-
What are polynucleotides?
-
Polynucleotides are chains of nucleotides which are the building blocks of our DNA. Polynucleotides are derived from salmon semen which, when injected into the skin, act as bio-stimulators, triggering our cells to produce new collagen and elastin. These proteins are responsible for skin firmness and elasticity, which naturally deplete as we age. This treatment helps to improve the hydration levels in the skin, stabilise pigmentation and minimise inflammation to enhance the volume and elasticity of the skin for a more youthful appearance.
Polynucleotides represent an advanced, non-surgical anti-ageing treatment renowned for their capacity to regenerate and rejuvenate the skin. Unlike traditional fillers, they are classified as bio-regenerators or bio-stimulators, primarily utilised to enhance skin texture, firmness, and overall quality.
Visible improvements can be observed after the initial treatment session, with the skin appearing more radiant and firm. The full benefits are generally more apparent over the subsequent 2-3 months as the skin continues to produce more collagen and elastin, leading to long-lasting skin rejuvenation.
Polynucleotides are particularly effective in treating delicate areas of the skin that are typically challenging to treat with other injectables, such as the eye area. They are safe and provide a non-invasive alternative to more aggressive cosmetic procedures.

How do Polynucleotides Work?
-
Dr Nyla performs her polynucleotide procedures at the Medispa clinics in Alderley Edge in Cheshire, Liverpool and Mayfair in London.
The polynucleotide solution is injected into the areas of concern, such as the face, neck or hands. Once in the skin, these bio-stimulators kickstart the production of fresh collagen and elastin, leading to a gradual improvement in skin quality over subsequent months.
Despite being an injectable treatment, they differ from the likes of dermal fillers or Profhilo because they act as bio-regenerators to encourage the production of collagen for plumper, more hydrated and youthful-looking skin. Over time, they work to improve the firmness and quality of your skin, minimising wrinkles and lines, tightening the skin and hydrating the skin cells for a rejuvenated appearance.
