The ENVY facial is one of Dr Nyla’s personal favourites, and you certainly will be the envy of your friends when they see how radiant and fresh your skin is after a course of treatments.

The ENVY is a three-stage process that is excellent for dull skin but can also be used for several other skin conditions, including sun damage, fine lines, acne scarring, stretch marks, and cellulite.

The first stage of the ENVY facial is a thorough cleanse of your skin to remove old makeup and surface debris.

Next, your therapist will pass a small loop device over your skin. The device acts as a mini vacuum, lifting the skin, extracting dead skin cells, and decongesting your pores. At the same time, as your skin is being deep cleaned, the device pushes a powerful serum into the lower layers of the skin.

Our therapists choose from four serums, using their expertise and experience to judge which combination will most benefit your skin. The serums are; vitamin C (to infuse the skin with antioxidants); ultra-hydrating serum (for dull/dry skin); pore clarifying serum (for congested skin); and skin-brightening serum (specially designed for the ENVY facial and used to reduce pigment).

Will I need any downtime after the ENVY facial?

Your skin may be flushed after the treatment, but any redness will soon subside. It is best to avoid skin products, particularly those containing active ingredients, for 24 hours after the ENVY facial, but you can use makeup as usual and don’t forget the sunscreen (SPF 50).

The treatment will take about 30 minutes, and your skin tone will appear brighter and smoother immediately. For long-term results, we advise regular treatments.

Its deep cleansing and resurfacing action is gentle but effective and will make dull skin a thing of the past. The Carbon Laser Peel also works wonders for oily skin, blackheads, enlarged pores, and acne.

Your therapist will apply a carbon liquid that soaks deeply into the dermis, the lower level of the skin. The carbon absorbs the excess sebum and dead skin cells in your pores. Next, a laser is passed over your skin which breaks up and removes the carbon peel, removing all the dead skin cells and other impurities that dull the skin simultaneously. The laser also directs heat energy into the skin, killing any bacteria on the epidermis and reducing the development of pimples and the inflammation of acne.

What will my skin look like after the Carbon Laser Peel Facial?

The Carbon Peel Facial will give you bright and radiant skin. We recommend a course of two to six treatments to achieve the best results. Your skin may be a little sensitive initially, so you may find it helpful to apply aloe vera gel during the first few hours after treatment. You should always use SPF 50 to protect your natural beauty, but Dr Nyla recommends extra care after the Carbon Laser Peel as your skin could be more sensitive to the sun for up to a month afterward.
