Profhilo is an anti-ageing treatment, specifically, it is the first injectable of hyaluronic acid that is used for skin remodelling and treating skin laxity.

This is very different from dermal fillers, which also use hyaluronic acid.

Dermal fillers stimulate collagen creation in areas of depletion and this, in turn, helps to volumise where lines appear, smoothing these and removing a sign of ageing.

Profhilo goes beyond this. Profhilo ensures that all the skin is replenished and collagen and elastin created, the whole of a person’s face and complexion takes on a more youthful, radiant and hydrated appearance.

Dermal fillers and other treatments such as Botox are wonderful options for addressing specific signs of ageing, they may be used in conjunction with Profhilo.

However, Profhilo is for giving the whole of your face a visible boost.

Doctor Nyla’s ethos is to produce results that leave the patient looking still like themselves, but themselves on a great day – more radiant, energised and vibrant. Profhilo fits in perfectly with this

Those who come to Doctor Nyla’s clinic for a Profhilo treatment are typically between 40 and 50 years old, although superb results can be achieved outside this range.

Everyone ages at a different rate and some under the age of 40 have seen profound change through Profhilo.

However, unlike fillers and Botox, it would be rare for someone under the age of 30 to have this treatment recommended.

Profhilo is suitable for all skin types; it works effectively for those who are starting to notice some ‘crepey’ skin.

While most commonly used on the face, Profhilo can also treat the neck, decolletage, hands, and arms.

Anyone considering Profhilo, or any treatment would have their full medical history studied by Doctor Nyla.

Doctor Nyla is an advocate for the highest of standards in all forms of injectable, believing that any such treatment should only ever be carried out by an experienced and medically trained professional.

A treatment such as Profhilo would always be preceded by a thorough and detailed consultation at our London clinic, this the opportunity to ensure it is the treatment that is most suited to the results you seek.

If it is ultimately agreed as a treatment, the process begins with a numbing cream being used.

The profhilo is then injected into the area to be treated using a technique known as BAP (Bio Aesthetic Points). This technique involves five injection points being used on each side of the face to ensure the best and most even results.

It is typical to receive two treatments with a one-month interval, although significant results are typically seen after just one treatment.

The second treatment leads to significant improvements in skin tone, with far better skin hydration and elasticity.

It is usual to have repeat profhilo treatments on a six-monthly basis.

When entrusting a leading London clinic such as Doctor Nyla’s, profound results can be achieved through the use of Profhilo.

However, rather than speaking at length about results we believe it is better to instead show images of patients from before and after treatment – these fair images taken with consistent lighting.

The Profhilo website has many such images – please take the time to have a look at the comprehensive gallery.
